Breaking Barriers: how a place based approach to health and housing can unlock substantial savings

Drawing on key findings from a new *Breaking Barriers Innovation Health and Housing report, we will consider pragmatic ways that local leaders can co-design services and collaborate to deliver an integrated health and housing agenda for the communities they serve.

This third GovTech Leaders Breakfast Club event will be chaired by Lord Kamlesh Patel of Bradford, whose experiences in his early career as a social worker in inner city Bradford, to his current role as Chair of Social Work England promise to inform a lively debate on how to turn policy into action.

Key questions to be discussed at the event, which will take place in the Quebecs Hotel in Leeds on Thursday 29th November include:

  • What impact does housing have on health outcomes?
  • What steps do organisations need to take to co-design services for system or community transformation and what does good service integration look like?
  • What skills do organisations need to enable service integration?
  • How do you maximise the opportunities from new technologies?

We hope that you’ll be able to join us.

When: 8.15am to 10.30am, Thursday 29th November 2018

Where: Quebecs Hotel, Leeds
