Tamworth Borough Council supercharges digital HR and payroll system

Tamworth Borough Council has invested in a new knowledge content management and training solution to support the transition of system knowledge and upgrades to its iTrent digital HR and Payroll system to help optimise user competency levels and accelerate the adoption of best practice processes.

Enable Now from MHR is a comprehensive tool that supports the Council to create, manage and deliver all aspects of knowledge transfer and performance support in a single solution.

It provides the convenience to create bespoke content and training materials, including documentation, step-by-step user guides, tests and animated videos with unprecedented speed and the flexibility to deploy online educational resources directly to employees – making training more cost-effective and less time consuming.

The module supports the Council with the rapid transition of system upgrades to enhance user adoption and knowledge of its software, while empowering its workforce with ‘just-in-time’ learning – providing them with access to knowledge as and when they need it.

Zoe Wolicki, HR Manager at Tamworth Borough Council, says: “As a small organisation with limited resources it is essential that our processes are as efficient as possible and we maximise the return on our software investment.

“Enable Now provides an effective platform to deliver training and support to employees, allowing us to upskill users of iTrent and other software solutions as quickly as possible in order to increase the knowledge, skill set and proficiency of our employees. This has already helped to reduce the number of queries received by the IT team, releasing their time to focus on more valuable tasks.

“As well as the efficiencies that come from enhancing user adoption and investing in the continuous learning and development of our employees, the ability to create our own training content using Enable Now means we can save considerable money on training costs across multiple systems because we are less reliant on internal and external training provision.

“The collective benefits and savings delivered by Enable Now are enormous and will help futureproof the organisation.”
