Tracy Lindeman, Assistant Director, Suffolk County Council

Tracy is an inspirational leader who is passionate about driving innovation and change in our organisation by championing technology.

Tracy is focused on promoting and supporting this culture of change for the benefit of our organisation and workforce, but most importantly for residents. An example of this is the System Transformation programme, an £8m set of workstreams to bring efficiencies and savings to our social care directorates and practice. Tracy took this proposal to cabinet, during a climate of austerity, and was successful in gaining the funding to transform our services to support us to save in the long term, better manage our significant demand and above all ensure that we provide the best outcomes of those that we serve.

Tracy is extremely credible, intelligent and strong willed, and has the experience and motivation to ensure that any work which she is responsible for is a success.

Tracy’s qualities are recognised not only locally but also regionally and she sits on the ADASS board, as well as several significant steering and programme boards. It is more important than ever in the tumultuous environment of local government to have inspirational and credible leaders, and there is no doubt that Tracy’s personal and professional qualities have, and will continue to, drive success and critical change in our organisation.
