Ten skills you’ll need to thrive in 2020 (Infographic)

As workplace technology develops, what skills will you need in order to thrive in 2020?

The impact that new technology will have on future workplaces and jobs is a matter for debate. Studies suggest that opinion is divided over the impact of artificial intelligence on jobs.

A recent report from the Organisation for Economic Co-operations and Development (OECD) found only 14% of current jobs could be automated – and those people could be redeployed in less process-driven roles that bring greater value to organisations. Meanwhile, Gartner says that artificial intelligence (AI) will become a positive job motivator with the public sector seeing continuously growing job demand – and 2020 will be the pivotal year of change.

With that in mind, what skills will be required in the ‘new age’ of work? What talents will help employees thrive? Helpfully, the team at training consultancy Guthrie Jensen has compiled an infographic highlighting the top 10 skills you need to thrive in 2020.
