Future Cities Catapult has appointed theGrogroup as its learning and development partner to supply a number of training and development programmes.

Eleven Catapults were established three years ago by Innovate UK, the UK Government’s innovation agency to transform the UK’s capability for innovation in specific areas and help drive future economic growth

Future Cities Catapult works collaboratively on a not-for-profit model, and is currently focused on three core themes: promoting healthy cities, building resilience in urban infrastructure, and designing strategies to help cities adopt and finance smarter technologies.

In order to help transform them from a start-up model to the next stage in their business lifecycle, theGrogroup has been appointed to help the Catapult deliver training programmes for all of their staff and a management skills programme for their 30 managers.

The programme will be delivered over a nine-month period and will be aligned with Catapults competency framework to further develop existing skills in negotiation, presenting, finance, and managing people, teams and performance.
