People power to help design GP digital services

Public invited to generate their thoughts and designs for the additional digital services that they want

A ground-breaking ‘co-design’ project called Our GP has been launched to support people across Scotland develop their ideas for the future of GP online services.

While some GP practices already offer online booking of appointments and repeat prescription orders, this project will involve citizens as partners (along with GP practice staff) to generate their thoughts and designs for the additional digital services that they want.

The Scottish Government funded project, which will also help people to set up prototypes of innovative digital services, is being run by the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) alongside co-design agency mHabitat.

mHabitat will be supported by Mental Health Foundation Scotland during this project.

More information on the project is available on the website http://dhcscot.alliance-scotland.org.uk/get-involved and people will be able to participate through a range of activity including co-design workshops, roadshow events and via social media.
