Cloud Technology Solutions (CTS) are hosting a CTS-Google Bus tour, which will run from the North of England in September/October 2015 to the South, finishing in late January 2016. The aim of the tour is to showcase the merits of installing Google to an array of organisations, such as “cost savings and flexible working”.
It will begin at Warwickshire County Council on 15th September 2015 and will feature the Digital Transformation Roadshow.
The roadshow will demonstrate how cloud technology can lower costs, offer flexible working and help provide citizen-centric services. It gives CTS the opportunity to inform local and central government about opportunities for “targeted savings to balance budgets and generate productivity gains”.
As well giving organisations the chance to speak to Google experts, it will also enable them to:
- “Learn more about cloud computing’s vital contribution to public sector transformation”
- “Hear case-studies from local authorities saving up to £3m by using Google services”
- “Touch and experience the latest Google technologies”
Those already using Google for Work, Chrome and Android include:
Warwickshire County Council, Adur & Worthing Councils, Royal Borough of Kingston and Sutton Councils; Hillingdon Council, Barking and Dagenham Council; Cabinet Office, HMRC, Crown Commercial Service, Department of Culture, Media and Sports, Ministry of Justice and more.
