Cornwall Council’s website has been named in the top 20 of 433 websites examined in a study by Socitm.

Cornwall Council’s website has been named in the top 20 of 433 websites examined in a study by Socitm.

The council’s website was awarded a four star accolade, the highest recognition available, means that the service has been named as one of the best in the UK.

The award comes as part of a study by Socitm reviewing the quality of website services across the country.

Cornwall’s website was also named in the top 5 of unitary authority websites and with a higher traffic level than most with an average of 600,000 visitors per month.

Websites are a valuable way of interacting with a wide audience,” said Jason Williams, Cornwall Council’s customer standards and digital manager.
