Cabinet Office details efforts to ensure more accurate searches through the Digital Marketplace, with framework set for official launch later this month.

With the Digital Marketplace offering G-Cloud services from today, the Cabinet Office has outlined a number of changes it has enacted to search functionality within the framework to ensure more relevant results for customers seeking to acquire services.

Originally scheduled to launch at the end of September, the Digital Marketplace, which has been in public alpha since June, is now offering G-Cloud services ahead of an official unveiling of the framework later this month. The framework will be replacing the current Cloudstore service, eventually bringing together G-Cloud and the Digital Services Framework (DSF) into a single procurement tool.

With the system now live, the Cabinet Office said the overall buying process on the Digital Marketplace is expected to be largely identical to the Cloudstore in outlining system requirements.
