PHE tool to put spend and outcome under the 'SPOT'light

Public Health England has published its spend and outcome tool (SPOT) for local authorities, which gives local authorities in England an overview of spend and outcomes across key areas of business as well as public health and its sub-programmes.

Public Health England (PHE) has published its spend and outcome tool (SPOT) for local authorities which gives local authorities in England an overview of spend and outcomes across key areas of business as well as public health and its sub-programmes.

SPOT includes a large number of measures of spend and outcomes from several different frameworks. Similar organisations can be compared using a range of benchmarks.

The tool is an interactive spreadsheet that allows you to explore the data in detail. You can also download a pdf factsheet for each local authority that has the information from the tool.

Visit PHE’s data and knowledge gateway to access data and analysis tools from across the organisation.
