Agilisys Digital for Districts is a new local authority product specifically tailored for district councils. It is a self-serve digital product which delivers transactional services to local authority citizens via all digital channels, including web and mobile, and can be tailored to meet local needs.
It includes web chat functionality, the ability to personalise web visits and uses Amazon-style customer friendly signposts.
The product can handle all the transactional services a district needs, including council tax, benefits, housing register and rents plus environmental bookings.
Some examples of transformational results include a 75 per cent reduction in avoidable contact in Barking and Dagenham, whilst in Hammersmith and Fulham 100 per cent of Housing Register applications are now submitted online.
Agilisys says it wants to make a difference to local authorities who have reported a wide range of benefits, including a significant increase in both customer satisfaction and efficiency. In fact, Agilisys claims most recoup their initial spend by the end of the first year of operation.
