GOV.UK peaks in August despite summer holidays

Despite the summer holidays, August saw a peak in the use of local government services viewed on GOV.UK.

Despite the summer holidays, August saw a peak in the use of local government services viewed on GOV.UK, reported UKAuthority.

According to Local Direct, there were 747,630 views of local council pages on the government’s portal for the month of August this year. The local government support service is run by the London Borough of Camden and the Department for Communities and Local Government.

The most viewed pages on the English and Welsh council websites were those providing information on how to apply for a bus pass (64,723 views) and those providing information on school term dates (56,149 views).
