More and more NHS doctors opt for online courses

There has been a 31% increase in doctors who complete courses on the internet, compared to last year, as it allows them to choose their own hours.

According to doctors.net.uk, a provider of online medical courses, there has been a 31% increase in doctors who complete courses on the internet, compared to last year, as it allows them to choose their own hours; 61% of GPs claim they have altered their practice as a result of these courses. Topics studied include ECG interpretation and child protection.

Dr Tim Ringrose, CEO of Doctors.net.uk has said: “This means doctors are better informed to deliver better healthcare and to ensure our limited NHS resources are used to best effect.”
