1 in 4 Northern Ireland citizens suffer

TotalMobile has announced the launch of MindMateNI, an app that shows users where the closest mental health and wellbeing services are available, cutting out the step of having to visit a GP to get this information. It will be available to download for free on BlackBerry, iPhones and Android.

One in 4 Northern Ireland citizens suffer from mental health issues; the app was developed during a Health Hack NI event sponsored by Belfast City Council.

According to TotalMobile’s Chief Technology Officer Gareth Tolerton: “Mobile technology has enormous potential for Healthcare and MindMateNI will be a great example of that.”
